Akaloo for Adults

When? Sunday mornings at 10:10 a.m.
Where? Social Room
Dates? September 2007 - May 2008

Akaloo for Adults is an opportunity to get to know other adults and to engage in informal small-group discussions about how faith is relevant to everyday life.

· Casual & informal
· Relevant to everyday life
· Discussing questions adults have about faith
· Parallels the themes in Sunday School

To spark discussion, participants view a short video clip called Taking It to the Streets that shows the attitudes of ordinary people to questions of faith. Akaloo recognizes that everyone will have challenges and doubts as part of spiritual growth and that each person's faith journey is unique. It encourages people to think about the questions that adults have about faith and what it means to be followers of Jesus. Parents of Sunday School children will appreciate that the topics are the same ones that the children are following, but all adults are welcome and will enjoy the interaction and challenging questions. Facilitators are Tom Boerigter, Mark Harms, Marty Parry, Jason and Jennifer Shoars, and Heidi Solheim.

St. Paul's is committed to grow in faith through Christian community for Christ's service.
