Ash Wednesday

Pastor Mark conducted an Ash Wednesday Service for our school children on Thursday, due to no school on Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is a difficult concept for students to understand, but knowing, during the forty days of Lent, it’s a time to be like Jesus. They too can resist temptations and use this time to become closer to God. It was a humbling experience to place the ashes on their foreheads.
