LIFT Assembly for October
Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD, and He will give you your heart’s desires. -Psalm 37:3-4
Our third graders’ worship lesson this week was based on Psalm 37:1-9. The students talked about how what we say and how we say it provides windows to our hearts! How it is our life’s work to learn to put aside all words that don’t advance the reputation and well-being of others! This month the students have worked on the skill of self control and have time and time again shown ways they can control their actions as well as their words. This morning we recognized our students for using self-control and we had a kick-off for October with a focus on faithfulness. Bless our teachers for the hard work they are putting into the development of our system of Fruit Values.
