Gratitude

November is a time in which we show gratitude to our Veterans and Thanksgiving provides an opportunity to share what we are thankful for. In worship this week our 5th graders performed a skit with the message that “showing gratitude just spills out on others.” Pastor Becker talked about showing true kindness as a choice and a way to show love toward one another.

I am sincerely grateful for all our Veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice. Many families have sacrificed so much for our freedom, words are not enough to express the gratitude we all hold in our hearts. Our annual Capstone Veterans Day breakfast and appreciation will be held in February. I am also so very grateful for the work of the staff, for the kindness shown by our students, and the support we continue to receive from the congregation, the community, our alumni and all our families. As Pastor Becker said, “Let your attitude show gratitude.”
