Social Emotional Learning
Nov. 30 is our next session for our social emotional learning lessons. Kate will continue to work with our K-3rd grade students and our 4th-6th grade students will have a new counselor, Shelby. We look forward to continuing to expand our understanding of our school values and the “fruits of the spirit.” This spring/summer the staff will be working towards the development of monthly celebrations with lessons around social-emotional learning and scripture to be rolled out in the fall of 2022-23. Due to the holiday break, the summary of the Nov. 30 lessons will be sent to you through JMC on Monday, Nov. 29.
Capstone-Class of 2021
Hold the Class of 2021 in your hearts and prayers as they fly to and from and explore Washington DC. By the time you read this newsletter on Friday they will have landed in DC and have had lunch at the Pentagon City Mall, explored the Disabled Veterans for Life Memorial, had a walking tour of Capitol Hill and should be in the Library of Congress. Be watching the school’s Facebook page at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday morning to see the live feed of the Wreath Laying Ceremony that our students will be participating in.
Stewardship Temple Talk
Throughout the month of November, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School has shown a series of stewardship talks. One of the purposes of the stewardship talks is a chance to celebrate and share the ministries of St. Paul’s. Please enjoy the video!
This will be the last newsletter before our Thanksgiving break. We have many things to be thankful for.
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
– – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
As I pulled up this verse, I am reminded of and so thankful for the circumstances that brought me to St. Paul’s. Each and every day I give thanks for being here and being surrounded by the love and warmth of our kiddos! We are all so blessed and fortunate!
