Social Emotional Learning
Our next social emotional learning lesson will be next Tuesday, Dec. 17. Both Kate and Shelby will continue the work under the Social Emotional Competency of Relationships. With the K-3rd grade, Kate will be discussing how to build relationships and how our relationships are different. They will use the metaphor of a sandwich and they will talk about “different combinations” of qualities that create different types of sandwiches. This will be a class discussion and activity.

In 4th-6th Grade, Shelby will be doing a get-to-know-you type activity to continue focusing on developing deeper relationships with peers and learning how to make new relationships and friendships with new peers.

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.”
– Hebrew 10:24

Vespers-Advent Service
The music department at St. Paul’s Lutheran School continues to expand and build on the talents of individuals and small groups. Watching and listening to our students in small groups, by classes and as a whole K-6th grade is so inspiring and reminds us all why we are here. Thanks once again for the support you offer your children and our school and continuing to enroll your children at St. Paul’s.

Christmas on Main
On Thursday, Dec. 10, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School was represented on Waverly’s Christmas Greetings on Main with a “live window.” Some of the students participated in the event by performing a living slideshow which included photos and narrations that highlighted the last 150 years of St. Paul’s. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the rich church and school history to the Waverly and greater community.
