In addition to providing clean, safe water to hundreds of people, your well will significantly reduce the amount of time women and children spend collecting water. Women will gain the time they need to take better care of their families and engage in income-generating activities. Children will have more time to go to school and be absent less often as water-related diseases become a thing of the past.
Included in the cost of these projects is hygiene and sanitation training for the community. Training is also provided to a local water committee (half women) that will be responsible for keeping the water project in good working order, as well as establishing a maintenance fund for on-going sustainability.

Spring Social-Auction Items Needed
Your school tuition dollars basically cover the salaries of our staff. The Church Endowment and church offerings, the School Fund, donor contributions and the Spring Social are used to cover school staff benefits and all the expenses of running the school. As our major fundraiser of the year the Spring Social committee creates an awesome event for parents to come together to celebrate another year at St. Paul’s. As well as planning the event, the committee’s major task is to seek items to be auctioned off the night of the event. We need your help in contributing and collecting items and experiences to be a part of the auction. One of our event coordinators, Stephanie Whitcome, has a list of who/what we have collected and she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 319-239-0788. Please contact her with suggestions, contacts and to double check we haven’t already collected from someone you are thinking of contacting. This year’s 12th Annual Spring Social will be on May 7. Social hour will be from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Bremer Brewing Company with the event being held from 6-8 p.m. at St. Paul’s. Be on the lookout for registration and we hope to see you there!
2022-23 School Registration is just around the corner, Feb. 7 at 7:30 a.m.
Please be sure to watch this video that tells the story about what our parochial students experience throughout the years as 6th grade graduates. As a member of our St. Paul’s family, it is our hope that you ALL help us with recruiting by sharing your St. Paul’s story with others. Remind others that they are able to apply for K-6th grade tuition support though STO and St. Paul’s Scholarships that help reduce tuition costs. Help us grow, share the good news about St. Paul’s!
