Providing HOPE and JOY to Families in Need
Lutheran Schools Week gives us an opportunity to celebrate everything that makes us unique and reminds us to focus on ways we can serve others. This year our theme is “Hope and Joy”. When I called and spoke with Claire about what goods we might collect, she said they are down to the last cases of lots of products. They are in need of EVERYTHING, especially “kid-friendly” foods! Set a goal to bring at least one item each day next week during Lutheran Schools Week. Help to fill our boxes with love, hope, and nourishment for those in need, especially those impacted by unemployment due to the pandemic!
Be the Pipe!
Thanks again for your generous donations to Water to Thrive! This week’s offering was $653.35! We are just a couple hundred dollars away from making our goal to build the well. Next week during Lutheran Schools Week, Mrs. Mummelthei and the class put together some videos for each day of worship in the classroom. At the end of each video you will see the impact that Water to Thrive is having on the families in Africa. Thursday’s worship service will be a collection of these videos, so be sure to tune in!
