We had over 30 entries for the 2021-22 Yearbook Winner. There were lots of awesome entries. Some couldn’t be used because they didn’t have a border, some had misspellings and others didn’t write the theme or put St. Paul’s on the cover. I extremely appreciate your hard work, and as I told the students, everyone that entered is a winner! Fifth grader Macy Janssen’s artwork will be featured on the front cover. The posters of the following students were selected to be featured on the back cover of the yearbook: Peter Engelbrecht-1st grade, Heath Hales-3rd grade, Ilsa Devries-2nd grade, Isaac Mueller-3rd grade, Landry Callahan-4th grade, Grady Goetzinger-2nd grade, Eve Johnson-Kdg, Addie Johnson-5th grade and Kamille Thompson-5th grade. Thank you to all the students who entered!
In less than a month away, we will be presenting our school musical, “Hans Bronson’s Gold Medal Mission”. The musical will be performed at 6:30 p.m. on May 4 in the Newman Auditorium on the Wartburg Campus. There will be K-3rd grade level performances and the musical will be presented by the 4th-6th grade students. We have planned to have T-shirt order forms sent home on Thursday.
I am so proud of our students in their collection of the 2nd trimester offering to support refugees that have settled. The offering money was used to create Welcome Kits for refugees moving to Iowa.
We were able to put together two kitchen kits, a bathroom kit, two kits with child bedding and a hygiene kit. Thank you for your generosity and support.
During this season of new life, I see the grace of our Lord in the growth and renewal of our school. As we acknowledge and celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, let’s rely on our faith and the Easter theme of renewal to give us hope and optimism with a renewed outlook and appreciation for each other, our school community and well-being. Wishing you a joyous and peaceful Easter holiday. (Thank you to Michelle Randolph who uses her bulletin board creative touches in sharing the school’s love with our church family.)
