New 9-Square Set at St. Paul’s
Joseph Britt of Waverly completed his Eagle Scout Project of building and donating two 9-Square Game sets to St Paul’s Lutheran School and WSR High School. Joseph is the son of Dan and Jean Britt. He is a member of the Boy Scout Troop 1051 in Shell Rock. To earn the rank of Eagle, a Scout must earn at least 21 merit badges and demonstrate leadership and community service by organizing and carrying out an Eagle project. For his project, Joseph completed building two 9-Square game sets to donate. “I love playing 9-square because every one of all athletic abilities and different ages can all easily play together.” Joseph is a sophomore at WSR High School. The picture to the left is St Paul School’s principal Tamela Johnson, scouts Andy Britt, Joseph Britt, Ryan Garbes and St Paul PE teacher Matt Rewerts in front of the newly donated 9-Spare game set.

Spring Social
The Spring Social was a success! We are so grateful for all who attended and gave such generous bids on both the live and silent auction items. With your support, we are able to continue to support St. Paul’s Lutheran School students through funding technology and literacy needs. We also want to thank all the businesses and individuals who so generously sponsored different parts of this event. We wouldn’t have been able to do this without you! We also want to thank all who volunteered their time and talents to help make tonight a success. Your work is so appreciated! We are so blessed at St. Paul’s!

All Day Every Day Preschool
Mrs. Stephanie Brown will return as the teacher in the 5-day a week extended preschool class teacher to replace Mrs. Wilde. She has had 10 years of teaching preschool and we feel blessed to have her back in that role.
“My name is Stephanie Brown, and I have felt a call to teaching since I was a child! I have held many educational positions throughout my career, including a teacher, an associate, a child care center director and a children’s ministry coordinator! I was hired to teach the all day, everyday preschool here at St. Paul’s. I left to spend more time being a grandma; but as it turned out, I ended up working in an aftercare program and teaching Art!” Mrs. Brown shared. “I have come to realize that teaching preschool is my passion, and I am excited to use my gifts and talents to encourage my students in their love of learning!”
