School’s Out for the Summer!
Just a reminder that next Friday, May 27th there will be an early dismissal on the last day of school. School will be dismissed at 12:40 p.m.
Spring Social Success
Blessings to our Spring Social Committee, especially event coordinators Steph Whitcome and Shania Anderegg, Jo Groth, our food coordinator and Bridgett Bolman for all the fantastic desserts. Thank you to all those that came forward to assist in ensuring the event ran smoothly. A special thank you goes out to all our donors and those that supported the event financially.
Drum roll…our total for the night’s event was just over $22,000 for our School Fund! The event’s success will enable us to continue supporting our technology and curriculum needs. God bless you all!Junior Achievement
Although the school year is coming to an end, we are looking ahead to next school year! Volunteers are crucial to making Junior Achievement programs a success. The real-world connection that volunteers can provide makes our programs relevant and engaging to our students. Volunteer opportunities can be found by visiting engage.ja.org. If you know of someone that would be a great fit for your classroom, encourage them to volunteer! If they have questions, they can email Amy at afossum@jaeasterniowa.org. If you have any questions and would like to talk to one of our current volunteers, please reach out to Principal Johnson or Amy.
Fast Bridge
Our statewide early math and literacy assessment is the Fast Bridge assessment. Your child’s results have been or will soon be shared with you. For more information about the assessment and the reports, visit https://www.illuminateed.com/products/fastbridge/reports/family-report/.
