Curricular & Spiritual Connections 9-10-21

Capstone 2020
The 6th Grade Capstone Class of 2020 will be leaving soon on their long-awaited trip to Washington, DC. They will be visiting the Library of Congress, with the help of Senator Ernst’s Office, the National Archives, and the International Spy Museum. They will also be able to choose to tour one of the museums in the Mall and they will be placing the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Sept. 11 (which will be livestreamed via Facebook Live Saturday at 8:15 a.m. central time). What a patriotic experience on such a historic day!  Please hold them in your prayers and ask God for guidance for their safety on this memorable trip.

Youth Ministry
Children’s programming at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School strives to be a place where Christian values are practiced and students have a positive and rewarding experience of God, faith and community. This year, we have set one of our goals to enhance Youth Ministry across the church and school. We have the luxury of having Deb Bachman, director of Faith Formation, interacting with our students by reading to and encouraging them in developing their faith.

School Fund
The purpose of the St. Paul’s Lutheran School Fund is to raise funds to ensure the school’s mission is fulfilled. Your gift to the School Fund provides tuition assistance, technology, textbooks and all those things needed for our children’s education. Thank you in advance for joining the hundreds of friends of St. Paul’s Lutheran School who offer their prayers and financial support so we can carry out our mission. There are many easy ways to support your School Fund. Each week we’ll highlight one of the ways our school can benefit from your normal everyday stops at places like Casey’s, Hy-Vee, Kwik Trip, etc. Casey’s has an App you can download on your phone and select St. Paul’s through the Cash for Classrooms.
