150th Anniversary: 1872-2022

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School will celebrate 150 years of ministry in Waverly, Iowa, in 2022—next year! The Anniversary Committee has been working hard to plan and implement wonderful activities and events for the year.

Each month we will welcome a former pastor to preach, and these weekends will include a Saturday evening meal for all who would like to attend. Lutheran Schools Week is March 7-11 and will incorporate the 150th Anniversary in their celebrations. Further, our Lenten season, starting with Ash Wednesday on March 2, will look at different historical perspectives from our 150 years in ministry.

As the committee continues their work, we will keep you updated with more details. This will be a special year of celebration. We are excited and encouraged and eagerly look forward to the next 150 years at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church & School.
